1. Overview
Lending Arena ("we," "us," "our") is a licensed mortgage lender (NMLS #1603937) that helps borrowers in Nevada, Texas, Washington, Florida, and California compare and obtain residential mortgages. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit lendingarena.com or apply for a mortgage with us, how we use and share that information, and the rights you have to control it.
By using our website or submitting an inquiry form, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information you provide to us
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
- Loan inquiry details: property type, estimated property value, loan purpose, intended timeline, credit score range (estimate), employment type, military service status, citizenship/visa status, down payment amount — depending on the loan program you select.
- Communications: messages you send us, recordings of calls you place to or receive from us (where required by law, you will be notified of recording).
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, screen resolution, language.
- Site activity: pages visited, time on page, referring URL, search engine queries that brought you here.
- Marketing identifiers: Google click identifier (gclid), gbraid, wbraid, Microsoft click identifier (msclkid), Facebook click identifier (fbclid), TikTok click identifier (ttclid), LinkedIn click identifier (li_fat_id), and the UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) attached to the URL when you arrived.
- Stable visitor identifier: a random 24-character hexadecimal ID stored in your browser's localStorage to associate visits with later inquiries you submit. You can delete this by clearing your browser's site data.
- Call data: if you call our advertised phone number from a paid-search session, our call-tracking provider (CallRail) may record the call source, duration, and the campaign/keyword that drove it, and may record the call audio for quality assurance and compliance.
Information from third parties
- Credit and verification: if you apply for a loan, we may obtain credit reports, employment verifications, asset verifications, and property data from consumer reporting agencies and verification services. This Privacy Policy does not cover those third-party agencies' practices.
- Advertising platforms: Google, Microsoft, Meta, and other advertising platforms may share with us aggregated information about ads you saw or clicked.
3. How we use it
We use the information described above to:
- Provide loan products and services you request.
- Communicate with you by phone, text, and email about your inquiry and our products — see TCPA for details.
- Underwrite and process loan applications (when applicable).
- Operate, secure, and improve our website.
- Measure marketing performance and improve our advertising.
- Comply with legal obligations including the Truth in Lending Act, RESPA, ECOA, and applicable state mortgage-lending laws.
- Detect and prevent fraud.
4. How we share it
We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Our loan officers and operations team — to follow up on your inquiry and process applications.
- Service providers under contract:
- Mailgun (transactional email delivery)
- CallRail (call tracking and recording)
- Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion measurement)
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (Cloudways)
- Investors, warehouse lenders, and loan-purchasing institutions — when we sell or assign a closed loan, your loan file goes with it.
- Government and regulatory bodies — when required by law or to comply with a subpoena, court order, or regulatory request.
- Successors — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of Lending Arena's assets.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, localStorage, and similar technologies on our site. Specifically:
- Strictly necessary: session management, security tokens.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (G-G3GFQ5NM40). Measures aggregate page views, source/medium attribution, time on site.
- Advertising: Google Tag Manager (GTM-P92D2KRJ) loads tags that may include Google Ads conversion tracking. We may set advertising cookies on devices that arrived via paid search to attribute conversions back to the ad campaign that drove the visit.
- Call tracking: CallRail dynamic-number-insertion script swaps the displayed phone number on paid-search sessions only and stores a session identifier so we can correlate the call back to the source.
- Consent Mode: for visitors located in the European Economic Area, advertising and analytics storage is denied by default until consent is granted.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impair some site functionality.
6. Data security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on internal systems, and periodic review of our security practices. No system is impenetrable, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services you requested and to comply with legal obligations. Specifically:
- Mortgage application records: retained for at least 25 months after final action (consistent with HMDA recordkeeping rules) and potentially longer for tax or regulatory purposes.
- Inquiry-only records (no application submitted): retained for up to 4 years (consistent with TCPA statute of limitations) to substantiate consent and demonstrate compliance.
- Web analytics data: retained per Google Analytics defaults (currently 14 months).
8. Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to exceptions for records we must retain by law.
- Opt out of marketing communications (calls, texts, email) and certain information sharing.
- Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, contact privacy@lendingarena.com. We will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. TCPA — calls and text messages
When you submit an inquiry form on our website and affirmatively check the SMS consent checkbox, you provide express written consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails from Lending Arena at the phone number and email address you provided, including via auto-dialer, artificial or prerecorded voice messages, and SMS, regarding mortgage services. Consent is not required to obtain a loan or any other product or service from Lending Arena. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
HELP and STOP
Reply HELP to any text message from Lending Arena to receive support information, including our contact phone, email, and a link to our SMS program terms. Reply STOP to any text message to immediately opt out of all future SMS messages from us. You will receive one final confirmation message after replying STOP, and then no further texts unless you opt back in.
Carrier disclaimer
The SMS program is compatible with most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our SMS program terms for the full carrier list, message-type description, and supported keywords.
No sharing of SMS opt-in data (important)
Lending Arena LLC does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or any data collected through our text messaging program to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is collected and used solely to provide the SMS service you have requested. This restriction applies to all subdomains, affiliates, and service providers, and survives termination of these Terms.
All categories of information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message services (which receive the data solely to deliver your messages on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose).
Revoking consent (all channels)
To revoke consent: reply
STOP to any text message we send you, or email
privacy@lendingarena.com. We will honor opt-outs within 10 business days. Once you opt out of one channel, we will treat it as an opt-out across calls, texts, and email unless you specifically request otherwise.
10. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collected, used, and disclosed in the past 12 months.
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.

You can also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorization plus identity verification.
